About me

Noah Oliver Pang profile

While I only recently began Mechanical Engineering at Waterloo, my journey with engineering began a long time ago. As a child, I loved building cardboard toys, preferring creating something new to playing with something bought. This love for creation has continued until today. I prototyped my first invention, a new plant grow light in grade 7 and have worked on several projects since, many of which can be seen in this portfolio.

Having grown up playing in the parks and mountains around Vancouver, BC, I’ve developed quite a love for nature and hope to use my engineering skills to help the environment in some way. As such, much of my work has focused on energy efficiency, reducing emissions, and providing alternative, environmentally-friendly materials.
